Unfortunately, as much as I hate to admit it, I do not make stop motion videos for a living. I do have another job that from time to time gets in the way of my favored work. Lately, it has gotten in the way most of the time. And although this entry is not specifically about the making of this video, the impact to the making of this video is tremendous. Let me explain...
Until recently, I had a job that allowed me to work from home, largely set my own hours, and could do other projects outside of it without too much interference. On the rare occasion that I had to go "into the office", I was privileged to have a lot of autonomy as well as resources. In fact, my prior video was entirely shot using the camera and computer from work. And although I purchased my own camera to shoot this video, my favored lens that was used to shoot all but one shot of Joes' Anatomy was borrowed from work. A lens I did not purchase with my new camera.
Speaking of Joes' Anatomy, this is a good opportunity to plug that video (again):

To this...
Needless to say, my resources have been compromised. And did I mention, they want me in the office (if you can call it that) 5 days a week. So, the project has certainly been compromised by the move, which is why I have not posted much in the way of progress over the past couple of months. But this will not deter me and I am even more determined now to work on it. And in many ways will need it more than ever as an outlet from the corporate cubicle life.
And now back to the show...
